Soccer is unarguably the most followed sport in the world, with billions of fans across the globe. It is played on various continents, and many competitions are being played. You can’t possibly watch all, so here are the top five soccer leagues with action and entertainment you should follow.

The English Premier League is the top league in England. They play host to famous clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United, and Liverpool, who have won the Champions League, one of the most prestigious football competitions in the world. The EPL is usually played from August to May. With each top fixture, this league will keep you on the edge of your seat. You can watch the EPL all over the world. In America, you can catch it on NBC Sports. 

We now go to the premium Italian league, Serie A. This league is home to some of Europe’s best teams, like Juventus, Inter Milan, and AC Milan. A name American football fans might recognize that of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a former MLS player who now plays for AC Milan.

The La Liga is the top-flight league in Spain. Two significant clubs stand tall with a lot of history, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. Both teams have never been knocked out of the league since its inception. These teams are also dominant across the continent. The league runs about the same time as the EPL.

The Bundesliga is Germany’s highest soccer League. While not as popular as the EPL or La Liga, they have a couple of teams with international appeal. Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund. They have also had great players and rising stars in their ranks. The likes of Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandoski.
