The Las Vegas Lights has demonstrated its plans to create a new standard worthy of emulation by other professional soccer franchises in the United States. The team values its fans highly and even allows them to have a say in the team’s name.

After over 10,000 votes were cast, the team was named the Las Vegas Lights FC. The team’s logo was also created with the help of fans, with design inspiration coming from the famous “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign.

Additionally, the team’s colors of light blue, yellow, and pink were chosen as they are the official colors of the city of Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas Lights play their home games at Cashman Field, a 12,500-capacity stadium that was originally built as a baseball venue in 1940. After a renovation in 2019, the stadium became the full-time home of the Lights. The team had its premiere season in 2018 and ended up ranking 15th.
