Toni Kroos has been one of the most consistently brilliant midfielders in world football for over 10 years and his amazing displays in midfield keep you glued to your TV for as long as possible.

The German was born on the 4th of January 1990, which means he is currently 31 years old. He has played for Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen (on loan), and currently plies his trade at Real Madrid, a club based in the Spanish capital.

His mother, Birgit Kammer was a badminton player who played the sport at the pro level, while his father, Roland Kroos was a professional wrestler.

Toni got married to long-time girlfriend Jessica Farber in 2015.

Kroos, who has made over 200 appearances for Madrid, has won numerous titles for his club. He has won a total of three Uefa Champions League (UCL) titles and two La Liga trophies with Madridista. For each of the three seasons (2016 – 2018), Kroos made the team of the tournament list.

He also has notable individual awards to his name, which include being voted 2014 World’s Best Playmaker by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) and the 2018 German Player of the Year.

He was very instrumental to the success of the German national team at the 2014 World Cup as Die Mannschaft beat Argentina 1-0 in the final.

The Germans had overwhelmingly embarrassed host nation, Brazil in the semifinal with a 7-1 humiliation in front of thousands of Brazilian fans present at the stadium.
